Bellevue-Based Work from Home Business Owner
Nancy S. Juetten
Earns MVP Status from Work at Home Moms Talk Radio

((Bellevue, WA – March 13, 2007) -- Nancy S. Juetten of Bellevue, WA, owner of Nancy S. Juetten Marketing Inc. and Media-Savvy-to-Go, earned a place on the Most Valuable Player list from Work at Home Moms Talk Radio (www.wahmtalkradio.com).

There is a large and thriving online community of mothers who have developed careers and businesses that allow them to work at home. Listeners of Work at Home Moms Talk Radio were asked to nominate those who have been the Most Valuable Player in their business circles. Over 500 nominations were submitted from station listeners across the nation. Each shared how the nominee helped her succeed or provided much needed support. The judges narrowed the field of winners to those who received at least five individual nominations to earn the WAHM MVP recognition. Winners will be interviewed on the Work at Home Moms Talk Radio show and receive a bundle of valuable prizes to help them take their growing businesses to the next level.

"Having found a way to make a great living doing work I love for quality companies with great stories to tell while raising a young family is among my proudest life accomplishments. That my clients and colleagues recognize my contributions to their success means the world to me," Juetten said.

Juetten owns and operates Nancy S. Juetten Marketing Inc.(www.nsjmktg.com) , a public relations and marketing communications agency that helps business owners get seen, heard, and celebrated in their own backyards and beyond via the impact and credibility of free publicity. Juetten is also the author of the Media-Savvy-to-Go Publicity Toolkit (www.mediasavvytogo.com) that empowers business owners to earn their own publicity without spending a fortune or spinning their wheels.

Juetten started her public relations and marketing communications business in 2001 when her son Kyle was just three years old. Her goal was to earn enough money to buy better groceries, and now her company has grown into a thriving corporation serving quality companies with great stories to tell, and she is too busy to cook. Olympic Hot Tub Company (www.olympichottub.com) , Delicious Planet (www.delicious-planet.com) , and Charter Bank (www.charterbankwa.com) are among Juetten's clients, along with hundreds of Media-Savvy-to-Go Publicity Toolkit buyers across the nation. Fan mail from happy clients demonstrates Juetten's impact on others. For example:

"I completely owe our article placement success to you as you have provided us a wealth of information these past few years from which we have truly benefited. Thanks for always being our advocate and for supporting what we do. We are thrilled to be a part of what you do and look forward to this relationship growing!"

Mary Sult, Marketing Coordinator, Falco+Sult, www.falcosult.com

"My conversations with Nancy Juetten have jump-started my own publicity efforts. In February, my photo and 'My First Job' story were featured in the Job Market section of the Sunday Seattle Times, generating phone calls and emails from top leaders in the Seattle financial services and automotive industries. Specific language Nancy shared during our first conversation now serves as the starting point for radio interviews. Since I have posted this interview on our Website, they have generated quality leads and meaningful new business conversations with clients. Nancy's insights, information, and energy pack a punch, and I highly recommend her and her Media-Savvy-to-Go Publicity Toolkit for anyone serious about building the buzz and growing to the next level."

Mike Seifert, Partner, GoMobile Advertising, www.gomobileadvertising.com

Dear Nancy, I wanted to take a moment and express my sincere thanks for such a productive one hour consultation. Purchasing your "brain cells" was such a positive and engaging experience. I was typing so fast that I had three full pages of notes! Nancy you should be proud of all you've accomplished. I'm grateful for the opportunity to put this valuable information to use in my mortgage business. I'm excited to refer you to other professionals, colleagues or individuals. My sincere thanks! I know my mortgage business will even be more top notch.

Lori Hastings, Home Stone Mortgage, www.homestonemortgage.com

Thea Sand followed a tip Nancy shared in a prior ezine. She got in touch with Seattle Post-Intelligencer Retail Reporter Craig Harris to tell him that her company, Emmanuel's Rug and Upholstery Cleaning, was preparing to celebrate its 100th business anniversary. They exchanged information. A photographer visited her store. A retail profile ran in the business section of the paper on March 10, 2007, and here is the link: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/306861_retail10.html . Sand is thrilled. "I've been looking at publicity versus advertising for a while and never thought I could implement it. Thank you so much Nancy."

Snohomish County Business Journal Debuts Nancy S. Juetten's Media-Savvy-to-Go Column to Share Tips to Help Business Owners Earn Free Publicity

(October 13, 2006 – Bellevue, WA) – The Snohomish County Business Journal (http://www.snohomishcountybusinessjournal.com) debuted a new business-builder column this month featuring commentary from PR agency owner and small business publicity expert Nancy S. Juetten of Nancy S. Juetten Marketing, Inc. (http://www.nsjmktg.com). The column is called Media-Savvy-to-Go, and it offers monthly tips and free resources to aid business owners in earning their own favorable publicity.

"Juetten's practical insights into how to publicize a company's products, services and achievements in the news media convinced us that she had valuable views that could benefit the readers of the Snohomish County Business Journal," Editor John Wolcott said.

National publicity expert Joan Stewart (http://www.publicityhound.com) wrote about Juetten's column in her ezine and blog this month. "Writing a column for your local newspaper is a fabulous way of demonstrating your expertise. Land a gig as a regular columnist and it's akin to being anointed by the publishing company. That's what happened to PR practitioner Nancy Juetten who's writing a new monthly column called "Media-Savvy-to-Go" for the Snohomish County Business Journal in Everett, Washington. She'll be writing about my favorite topic: how small businesses can get free publicity. If Nancy's experience is similar to that of other freelance newspaper columnists, I'm guessing that she'll have more business for her PR practice than she can handle. What a great way to attract clients."

Stewart even endorsed Juetten's publicity tips booklets to her thousands of readers. She wrote, "Nancy, by the way, did something else to bring in more business. She published two tips booklets called "97 Powerful Ways to Profit from Free Publicity" and "50 Powerful Publicity Resources to Build Your Business." Her ideas are fabulous, and I wish I had written them."

Visit the online edition of the newspaper each month for Juetten's latest column. Visit http://www.publicityhound.net/ to read Stewart's blog entry.

Power-Packed Tools from Publicity Expert Reveal Insider Tips to Profit from Free Publicity

Plus, Clubs, Associations, and Organizations Can Use the Tools as High-Value Premiums to Boost their Sponsorship, Membership, and Sales Goals

(July 12, 2006 – Bellevue, WA) – Business owners and professionals eager to grow their businesses and profit from the power of positive publicity can access newly released information products from the Website for Nancy S. Juetten Marketing Inc. (www.nsjmktg.com) to get the job done. The products are filled with instantly-useful information and can also serve as marketing tools themselves.

The “Media-Savvy-to-Go” tips booklets, audio CD’s, and E-workbook educate and empower business owners to harness the power of the media to their own reputation-building advantage. Founder, President, and Chief Publicity Officer Nancy S. Juetten created this line of information products so business owners and professionals can create their own media buzz without incurring the expense of retaining a public relations agency.

“Every growing company has its own unique story to tell, yet many lack the media savvy or skills to bring their stories to the media’s attention in a winning way,” Juetten explained. “These products demystify the media relations process and offer 147 powerful ways that business owners can build their businesses and profit from the power of positive publicity,” she added.

Best of all, the booklets and audio CD’s can serve as premiums for clubs, organizations, and associations to offer to their members, clients, and sponsors as valuable promotional tools to advance everyone’s business building interests.

Paulette Ensign, the founder, CEO, and chief visionary for Tips Products International (www.tipsbooklets.com), has sold over 1 million copies of her booklet, “110 Ideas for Organizing Your Business Life.” In fact, she said that the Lillian Vernon Catalog Company licensed her content to create 250,000 tips booklets that compelled catalog shoppers to buy more merchandise from within the catalog. Ensign said that the company tracked a 13% sales increase specifically to the booklet offer.

Juetten said, “Results like these are what business owners today are hungry for, and our new “Media-Savvy-to-Go” tools can help them achieve any variety of revenue-generating benefits.

“Whether bulk buyers use the booklets or CD’s to thank their customers for their business, offer them to prospects at trade shows, or package them as a value-added bonus with a product or services they sell, they can earn client appreciation and loyalty as they apply the information to their own business building advantage,” she added. Best of all, booklet orders of 1000 or more can be customized with organization or sponsor logos and marketing offers and information.

National publicity mavens such Joan Stewart and Susan Harrow have reviewed Juetten’s tips booklets favorably.

“Don’t spend any more time or money on your publicity campaign until you read these booklets. When it comes to forming strong relations with the print, broadcast and online media, Nancy Juetten clearly understands that getting publicity is all about building relationships with the media, and Publicity Hounds everywhere need to read her tips. These booklets are a fabulous crash course on how to be media-savvy.”

Joan Stewart, The Publicity Hound
www.publicityhound.com

"Solid, sound advice from writing an ezine to handling a media interview. Nancy Juetten's booklets give you a quick checklist of everything you need to know about doing a publicity campaign."

Here are few example tips to demonstrate the value within Volume 1:

31. Go beyond the notion that if it bleeds it leads. It is not necessarily so. Sometimes, TV and print assignment desk editors crave visuals on the lighter side of the news. Capturing the magic of the downtown holiday lights or the last minute Easter rush at the local chocolate shop can provide timely, relevant, refreshing, and visual news. These kinds of stories can serve as the close to any local news broadcast or grace the cover of your local newspaper.

74. Avoid the dreaded LAQ. LAQ stands for “lame ass quote.” “I am just so excited to bring my product to market,” “We are pleased to have the opportunity to play the game,” and “I’m just happy to help the ball club” are LAQ examples. These statements might work for the movies, but they don’t offer much value to inform readers, listeners, or viewers.

Here are a few example tips to demonstrate the value of tips within Volume 2:

17. Invite new ezine subscribers. Register your ezine to sites such aswww.ezinearticles.com. Here ezine readers and publishers from coast to coast and worldwide can review a brief and compelling summary about your ezine and elect to opt-in. Plus, this helps your name and company name pop up more readily in the search engines.

37. Promote your events on www.craigslist.com. The “community” section of this site is an online bonanza of publicity opportunities to reach potential customers from hundreds of cities across the nation.
Visit the online store at www.nsjmktg.com to learn more about all of the “Media-Savvy-to-Go” information products.
