Wow -- What a Year --2006

Your Input Will Make 2007 Even Better

Dear RecipientFirstName,

2006 was an exciting year of growth and new opportunities.

  • Olympic Hot Tub Company, ABODA, and Cascade Bank (among many others) enjoyed traditional fee-for-service public relations and marketing communications services that resulted in scores of how-to article, business features, award wins, and other good press to help advance their success in the marketplace.
  • Hydrogen Advertising's Bill Fritsch continued to write two monthly columns for both Marketing and the Snohomish County Business Journal as a result of winning pitches prepared on his behalf.
  • Two Media-Savvy-to-Go publicity tips booklets and a workbook debuted to help many success-seeking business owners secure their own publicity without breaking the bank.
  • Audience members at Puget Sound business organizations and networking groups heard me speak about a variety of media relations topics to favorable reviews.
  • Snohomish County Business Journal readers got a taste of Media-Savvy-to-Go tips, resources and information via the October launch of my monthly column by the same name.
  • A wonderful audience of women business owners joined me, Zita Gustin, Lorraine Howell, and Mikelann Valterra  as we presented the Power Tools for Women Business Owners and Entrepreneurs half-day seminar at Maggiano's in October. We shared tips about business networking, rate setting, media relations, and elevator speech imrpovement as we enjoyed fabulous food in a lovely setting.
  • I even won two national awards for annual report excellence for copywriting I contributed to the Cascade Bank and Charter Bank annual reports for 2005.

Along the way, I sure learned a lot about e-commerce with a learning curve that was just about straight up.  I strugged a bit with technology (as many of you have received a few too many ezines each month than you'd like). And, I wished -- along with many of you -- that days could be longer so I could accomplish everything on my never-ending to-do list.

As I look to 2007, I wonder what new ways I can serve my clients and ezine subscribers.  This brings me to consider a few questions that I hope you can answer for me.

-  Do you have interest in group media relations coaching via teleconference to benefit from my expertise and access it affordably in a group setting?

-  Do you want more Media-Savvy-to-Go Special Reports to help you save time and money as you achieve winning Puget Sound public relations results?

-  Would Media-Savvy-to-Go audio CD's be of interest?

-  What products or services are on your wish list that I can bring forward to support your media relations success?

-  Do you have any comments to share about this ezine that can help me be of better service and deliver greater value?

-  Is there anything missing from our service and product offerings and overall approach that would ease a very real problem in your business that we can help you solve?

I invite you to call me at 425-641-5214 or send your comments to  nancy@nsjmktg.com so I can take your ideas into consideration for what I hope will be a winning 2007 for us all.

Two More Opportunities to Learn How to Make the Most of Your Media Relations without Spending a Fortune

In these brief, yet powerful 30-minute sessions, I will walk audience members through all the steps to follow to get their names in print based on a proven approach that continues to deliver the ink for agency clients and those who follow the steps to their own reputation-buiding advantage.

You will learn:

  • How to pitch the media so that your story will get told
  • How editorial calendars can be used to your best advantage
  • How to brainstorm provocative article titles to compel editors to say "yes" to your ideas
  • Nancy's top ten favorite ways to earn the ink
  • The top ten deadly sins of media relations and why you should avoid them.
