What Media Results Can a Client Expect in a Year's Time?

In December of 2005, I made a rather bold request of my ezine subscribers, project clients, and referral partners.  I asked for one of them to step up to become one of our agency’s annual retainer clients and engage us to the highest level of our passion and capabilities.


Alice Cunningham, co-owner of Olympic Hot Tub Company, called me a few days later and said, “Is there still room for me to be one of your  clients?”  She said she wanted to sign-up.  She also quipped that perhaps she should call back in a few minutes to allow me time to recover from my surprise.  We both had a good laugh over that, and we started working together in January of 2006.  Since then, Alice and her company have enjoyed prominent and favorable coverage in the media.  The coverage has supported a very strong year of retail sales, estimated to reach $10 million by year-end.
